Well my trip to Edmonton was very positive for a number of different reasons, but one of which is VERY interesting.
I stopped into West Edmonton Mall after a meeting to grab a bite. As I walked down Bourbon Street, feeling like I was back in Vegas, I decided to park myself at a table in Hudson's. Now this is not my first time at Hudson's, but it was at this location, and it's beautiful! Lot's of TV's, a warm inviting atmosphere and very friendly service proved that I made the right choice. I looked through the menu, which was varied and complete without needing an guided tour and a nap before deciding on what to have. I ordered a LOADED Burger (don't tell Dave my trainer) and some Cheese-sticks to start.
When the burger arrived.... I almost fell out of my chair, it was LOADED for sure! As I giggled to myself, I grabbed my cell phone and called Chris Decock to harass him about the size of my...

Well.. needless to say it was another rockin evening in Calgary's Pumphill district, as the 11th Annual Red Meat Party surged into the night. Countless friends, colleagues and client's of Kahane Law enjoyed the Studio 54 themed festivities with bell bottom jeans, Afro's of every color and description and the best collection of platform shoes I have seen since watching re-runs of Starsky and Hutch.
The food was once again indescribable, as every type of red meat you can think of was BBQ'd, smoked and otherwise cooked to the guests delight. Smoked prime rib, lamb chops, Montreal smoked meat and Jeff's dad's famous BBQ'd ribs were just a few of the items at the buffet table. The slush machines were workin overtime to keep up with the margarita's, and the ice sculpture with the tube running through it to chill the shooters was VERY cool. The DJ this year was a great addition, and Malla, the dance...

Hello everyone,
We have thrown open the doors on our new website and MAN are we happy with the result!
I would like to thank Dave deBruyn and his team at deBruyn Design + Marketing for all of their hard work, advise and expertise in putting together a spectacular site which will take Hospitality Marketing in Western Canada to a whole new level. Our ability to market and expose our clients businesses is now second to none and it could not have been possible without their specific skill sets and unmatched design flair. Thanks again Dave and Team!!
Please take a minute to browse through the site and let us know if there are any typo's (I'm new to the "back-of-house" system) or other little glitches so we can jump on them.
Otherwise tell your friends, shout it from the roof tops and just plain let everyone you know in the Food and Beverage Business know that we are up and running!!!
Thank you...

Mr. Colin HargreavesOwner The Three Crowns Pub 523 Woodpark Blvd. SW Calgary, AB T2W 4J3
Hello Rob, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your help with the purchase of The Three Crowns Pub. The fact that you took the time to learn about who we were and what our needs were was integral in being able to find the right fit for our concept. Your patience and understanding was a great help and made the process smooth and less stressful.
The fact that you didn’t try to “sell us” a place, but brought us opportunities to review, while providing us with your past experience, helped us to make an educated decision. We look forward to you visiting us at our new pub and I have already recommended you to another business associate of mine.
Take care Rob and keep up the good work!
Sincerely,
Colin

Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in 1702 12 STREET NW in Calgary.
This is the perfect opportunity to buy this business and continue with the concept or bring your own idea and do something completely different.
There is a canopy hood fan so you could do pretty much anything that the Landlord will approve. You have thousands of students across the street and you are surrounded by a well established business corridor and lots of residential and hotels.
The space is 660sqft so it is easy to manage and there are 10 seats inside for customers or delivery drivers to sit while they wait for their food orders. Call and set up a tour of this cool little restaurant spot!
Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in 890 4 AVENUE SW in Calgary.
The Street Eatery is a fully licensed, full-service restaurant that opened in early 2016 and offers dine-in, take-out, and delivery. The Street Eatery’s menu consists of small plates, rice bowls, plates, sandwiches and burgers, and salads.
The food is globally inspired street food including Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, and American. The menu is very unique and is designed to appeal to a wide range of diets and preferences, as the menu is approximately 50% plant-based, and has many gluten-free options. Due to the large appeal of The Street Eatery’s menu including its “Street Shakes” and “Vegan Wings”, the restaurant has become a well-known destination. The Street Eatery was voted to have Calgary’s best vegan meal and dessert in 2019.
In November 2019, The Street Eatery launched a “ghost kitchen” delivery and take-out only “modern burger joint” called “Drippin Sauce”. Drippin Sauce’s menu consists of grass-fed beef burgers, Alberta free-run chicken burgers, plant-based burgers, fries, poutine, and milkshakes. This brand has been well received by guests, sales grew 400% during the covid-19 period. The kitchen is well equipped and can serve as an "open kitchen concept", and is fully vented with walk in fridge.
Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in 1602 Bow Valley TRAIL in Canmore.
This is a VERY RARE opportunity to purchase a stand alone restaurant in the Bow Valley Corridor! At 7,000 square feet with 37 parking stalls and TWO patios and great rent, this is one of the best sites in the Town of Canmore. The town is set to double in size over the next 10 years, with over 600 housing units planned on the Bow Valley Trail now and into the future.
Set up as a restaurant and sports pub, you could configure the operation any way you see fit. The building is in great shape and the kitchen and prep areas are clean and very well outfitted for just about any type of cuisine.
You really need to walk the building to get a full appreciation of what this listing has to offer the serious restauranteur or larger restaurant group! Call and book a tour if you would like to fully understand this great opportunity. |
