LATEST STORIES For Today's News From Around the Web..

Well this is a first for me. A client texted me yesterday to let me know that he was sorry that the café in Canmore that he was considering buying had “ditched”. Unsure of what he meant, I called to ask. He informed me that a family member who lives in Canmore was told that the owners of the restaurant had done a “midnight move” and stripped the place bare. Not only that, but they had left a DEAD horse on the front lawn!

Not that I didn’t believe him or his kin, but I had to verify this disturbing turn of events. I called my good friend Frank Barbaro, owner of the great little Italian restaurant Santa Lucia. Frank confirmed that they had done exactly that, and it was a horse skeleton. Seriously….WTF.. why is the realtor always the last to know? Not that I would have showed up with my truck and helped move tables and chairs or anything like that,...

Here Is A New Listing That I Just Posted In 202 Main STREET NW in Diamond Valley

Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in 202 Main STREET NW in Diamond Valley.
Land, Building and Business For Sale! Coyote Moon Cantina & Espresso Bar has been operating on Main St in Diamond Valley (the former Turner Valley) since 2007, serving up great food to the locals and folks travelling on the Cowboy Trail. There is a wonderful warmth to the building, which was originally build as a fire station and then it became the Town Hall. The interior boasts lots of wood accents, character wooden tables and chairs, high ceilings and a wood burning fireplace to add heat and ambiance. The menu serves up a great offering of solid breakfast and lunch items, the kind of food that you would expect in a small town, delicious, rustic and well priced. From burgers to bennies, sandwiches and salads, there is something for anyone. If a new owner wanted to open for dinner they could expand the hours and the annual revenue quite easily. The restaurant sits across the street from the baseball & soccer fields, waterpark and community centre, as well as the ice rink, Sheep River Library and the Diamond Valley Municipal Campground. The current owners are ready to retire and hand over the reins to a new owner with new ideas and energy. Call for a tour of this wonderful chance to own your building and business in a growing community only 45 minutes from Calgary

Here Is A New Listing That I Just Posted In 110 3 AVENUE W in Cochrane

Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in 110 3 AVENUE W in Cochrane.
My Greek Plate is one of Cochrane’s most beloved eating destinations. They have built a rock solid reputation for high quality Greek/Mediterranean cuisine, a warm friendly family atmosphere and great service. The restaurant is well located in Downtown Cochrane, in a quaint standalone building with 14 parking stalls out back and lots of street parking. It is walking distance from Main Street, with 30 seats inside and 35 seats on the fantastic patio out front. They operate 7 days a week, but the hours could be expanded to include lunch mid week if you wanted to. The rent is very reasonable for a stand alone building, which is so important to the success of a restaurant these days. The restaurant has been booked out for private events, weddings and the like on many occasions, because of it’s size and warm atmosphere it is popular for such occasions. This is a great opportunity for a young chef or restauranteur who is energetic and enjoys the small town lifestyle.

Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in Calgary, Calgary.
Large Franchise Restaurant, Bar & Entertainment Venue For Sale in Alberta The owner of this flagship restaurant, bar and entertainment venue has multiple business holdings and would like to focus on those, so they have decided to put this store up for sale. This absolutely immaculate operation is an amazing opportunity for the right buyer. It is one of the nicest builds I have walked through in my career, with all the bells and whistles. When you tour through the business, you really get an idea of the scope of this operation. There is a huge rooftop patio and a full bowling alley and games area on the lower level. The store has so much to offer it makes it hard to cover in a few paragraphs, it truly is an amazing restaurant/pub business. If you would like a full information package, please call an NDA and a private tour.
