Well my trip to Edmonton was very positive for a number of different reasons, but one of which is VERY interesting.
I stopped into West Edmonton Mall after a meeting to grab a bite. As I walked down Bourbon Street, feeling like I was back in Vegas, I decided to park myself at a table in Hudson's. Now this is not my first time at Hudson's, but it was at this location, and it's beautiful! Lot's of TV's, a warm inviting atmosphere and very friendly service proved that I made the right choice. I looked...

Well.. needless to say it was another rockin evening in Calgary's Pumphill district, as the 11th Annual Red Meat Party surged into the night. Countless friends, colleagues and client's of Kahane Law enjoyed the Studio 54 themed festivities with bell bottom jeans, Afro's of every color and description and the best collection of platform shoes I have seen since watching re-runs of Starsky and Hutch.
The food was once again indescribable, as every type of red meat you can think of was BBQ'd, smoked and...

Mr. Colin HargreavesOwner The Three Crowns Pub 523 Woodpark Blvd. SW Calgary, AB T2W 4J3
Hello Rob, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your help with the purchase of The Three Crowns Pub. The fact that you took the time to learn about who we were and what our needs were was integral in being able to find the right fit for our concept. Your patience and understanding was a great help and made the process smooth and less stressful.
The fact that you didn’t try to “sell...
Suggested Blog Articles Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in Calgary. Here is a great opportunity to take over a professionally built hospitality space in one of Calgary’s most established inner city neighbourhoods.
The space was designed as a quick service food and beverage operation and would work well for a café, sandwich shop, pizza concept or almost any other fast casual restaurant. There is also a separate licensed room that could be used for evening service, private dining, tasting events, small functions or another complementary concept. Two outdoor patios provide additional seasonal seating and help create even more ways to use the space.
More than $550,000 was originally invested in the buildout, and the assets are now being offered for $265,000. For a buyer looking to open a hospitality business, this is an opportunity to acquire a high quality, ready to operate space for a fraction of what it would cost to build something similar today.
The sale includes the leasehold improvements, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Additional equipment may also be available, giving a purchaser the flexibility to adapt the space to suit their own menu and concept.
The kitchen has been designed for efficient service, with existing takeout and delivery infrastructure already in place. The professionally finished interior gives a new operator the ability to open much sooner, while still allowing them to introduce their own branding, décor and personality.
Property Highlights
• Prime location in one of Calgary’s best known hospitality districts
• Professionally designed quick service restaurant
• Efficient commercial kitchen
• Separate licensed room for evening service, private events or additional dining
• Two outdoor patios
• Licensed food and beverage operation
• Takeout and delivery systems already in place
• High quality leasehold improvements
• Furniture, fixtures and equipment included
• Additional equipment may be available
• Attractive lease, subject to landlord approval
Building a comparable restaurant today would require a much larger investment, along with the time and uncertainty involved with design, construction, permits and tenant improvements. This opportunity allows a buyer to spend less time building and more time opening, marketing and growing their concept.
The current ownership has decided to realign its hospitality operations and make the space and assets available to a new operator. The existing brands are not included in the sale, allowing the purchaser to bring their own vision to the location.
The business identity, operating information, lease details and additional information will be provided to qualified purchasers.

Sometimes I get unique opportunities that come up for sale and this is one of them!
A rare chance to buy a Bar \ Lounge with a very cool entertainment component. The business is built on family fun, a place for young people to gather and an amazing opportunity to build a very strong corporate team building business as well. There is a small kitchen that is easily operated by staff, without the need for a formal Chef or cooking staff, but you could also explore the idea of putting in a formal full scale kitchen.
The rent is VERY reasonable and the whole operation can be run with minimal staff, making it a desirable business model for an ambitious young operator to take to the next level. There are so many things that you need to know about this opportunity, so make a point of checking out this very cool business opportunity. Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in Calgary Bedroom Community. CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS SALE: Award-Winning Pizza & Pasta Restaurant (Dine-In / Takeout / Delivery)
Take a strong look at this solid opportunity to acquire a well known, award-winning, family friendly pizza concept with a strong reputation for signature pizzas, house made favourite dips, and craveable pasta dishes.
This is a business built for today’s market, combining a comfortable dine in experience, efficient takeout, and an in house delivery operation supported by subcontracted drivers. All this creates a balanced operation supported by loyal local customers and consistent repeat business.
The menu is engineered for broad appeal and strong guest cheque averages, featuring classic and specialty pizzas, including rotating features, wings, boneless ribs, calzones, salads, and a signature pasta lineup, all designed to travel well and support repeat ordering.
The business benefits from established ordering through third-party platforms and strong community engagement through local partnerships, group orders, school programs, and special occasions.
More than just a restaurant, this concept has developed a recognizable local presence and a dependable customer base through consistent branding, quality, and guest experience. Systems and workflows are in place to support smooth daily operations, making this a true turnkey opportunity.
Ideal for an owner/operator looking for a proven concept with immediate cash flow, or a multi-unit group looking to expand their footprint.
Significant upside exists through expanded catering, enhanced marketing, additional limited time offers, and optimizing delivery and takeout throughput with the added opportunity to implement direct online ordering (e.g., Clover) if desired.
