Well this is a first for me. A client texted me yesterday to let me know that he was sorry that the café in Canmore that he was considering buying had “ditched”. Unsure of what he meant, I called to ask. He informed me that a family member who lives in Canmore was told that the owners of the restaurant had done a “midnight move” and stripped the place bare. Not only that, but they had left a DEAD horse on the front lawn!

Not that I didn’t believe him or his kin, but I had to verify this disturbing turn of events. I called my good friend Frank Barbaro, owner of the great little Italian restaurant Santa Lucia. Frank confirmed that they had done exactly that, and it was a horse skeleton. Seriously….WTF.. why is the realtor always the last to know? Not that I would have showed up with my truck and helped move tables and chairs or anything like that,...

Here Is A New Listing That I Just Posted In Calgary, Calgary

Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in Calgary, Calgary.
Pizza is one of the most in demand Quick Service Restaurant operations out there at the moment, and this location checks all the boxes! The owner built this store with the intent to sell it, as they have other restaurant operations and they want to focus on those. This store is VERY stylishly built with the idea that a new owner could take the store and start building more locations or they could franchise the concept. The store is doing between $11,000 and $13,000 per week, with lots of growth potential. The store is 963 sqft, with 28 seats inside, in an area that is full of families with higher end average incomes. The menu is gourmet pizza, wings and pasta, all made from scratch, focusing on food quality and customer experience. This is a 7 day a week operation

Great Location For a Cool Little Pizza Joint! Smack in the middle of Calgary’s Red Mile, the heart of 17th Ave SW, is this 40 seat eat in / take out / delivery pizza restaurant. It is perfect for late night service and delivery. You can do so many revenue streams here, it has a ton of potential for an aggressive operator. Here Is A New Listing That I Just Posted In 202 Main STREET NW in Diamond Valley

Here is a new listing that I am happy to post in 202 Main STREET NW in Diamond Valley.
Land, Building and Business For Sale! Coyote Moon Cantina & Espresso Bar has been operating on Main St in Diamond Valley (the former Turner Valley) since 2007, serving up great food to the locals and folks travelling on the Cowboy Trail. There is a wonderful warmth to the building, which was originally build as a fire station and then it became the Town Hall. The interior boasts lots of wood accents, character wooden tables and chairs, high ceilings and a wood burning fireplace to add heat and ambiance. The menu serves up a great offering of solid breakfast and lunch items, the kind of food that you would expect in a small town, delicious, rustic and well priced. From burgers to bennies, sandwiches and salads, there is something for anyone. If a new owner wanted to open for dinner they could expand the hours and the annual revenue quite easily. The restaurant sits across the street from the baseball & soccer fields, waterpark and community centre, as well as the ice rink, Sheep River Library and the Diamond Valley Municipal Campground. The current owners are ready to retire and hand over the reins to a new owner with new ideas and energy. Call for a tour of this wonderful chance to own your building and business in a growing community only 45 minutes from Calgary
