Inglewood’s Epic Burger!

Well…. it’s been a while since I have blogged, but I have a good reason today. I met up with a buddy of mine, Richard Fuller for lunch, he is the owner of The Trough Dining Co. in Canmore. It was just a reason to have a bite and get the 411 on what’s happening in Canmore. If you haven’t been to The Trough, it is reason enough to make the beautiful drive to Canmore. Dana and I love the place, Richard takes great care of his customers, the food is fantastic and it’s a great romantic evening, check it out!

We decided to visit another friend of mine, who I just helped purchase his latest restaurant. Pub’s in NW Calgary don’t come up very often, so this is a great opportunity. It is located in a neighbourhood strip mall with TONS of residential housing around it, making the true “neighbourhood pub”. They serve a great pizza and are able to do delivery as well. At 130 seats it is the perfect size, allowing you to do good volume, but not so big that it is hard to fill or hard to staff. There is a small patio out front for 24 people and the rent is very competitive with a good lease in place. They are a pub, but really focus on the food they serve, so it also has a bit of a restaurant feel as well. They do lots of parties and reservations for special events like retirements, birthdays etc, as well as serving lots of the area’s sports teams.
